Are Swytch Kits waterproof?

Currently, all our kits are designed to withstand various weather conditions and are rated IP6, meaning it can be used in heavy rain without any issues. However, if the exterior of the Power Pack sustains cracks or damage, or if the kit is submerged in water for an extended period, it may compromise the waterproofing. Oh, and this includes the wires too – all of which are waterproof. If you have the AIR or MAX handlebar-mounted version, it’s important to avoid letting water pool in the connector area. While the system is waterproof, we recommend drying the connector fully before clamping it into the mount.
If you encounter any damage to the kit, please reach out to our team with a photo of the damage and an explanation of what occurred, and we’ll assist you accordingly.
