I ordered and fitted the Swytch kit to my 2018 Giant Fathom MTB to use to commute to work. The MAX battery is only good for 10 - 15 km, around the hills in town. I can extend the range to 20km if I turn off the power on the downhills and flat terrain.
Overall, I'm happy the way it works for short commutes.

I have been using the Swytch Max Kit 16" for my daily commute and occasional trips. It's a great kit that is easy to use, smart and reliable. However, during the kit set-up, I faced the issue of a broken pedal sensor cable. Despite that, I love the Swytch Max Kit.
During the kit set-up, I faced the issue of a broken pedal sensor cable. The Swytch Support team sent me the replacement items for free, which was great. However, the support process was slow and it took a long time for them to respond to my queries. Even after receiving an automated response with a ticket number, I had to wait for days, sometimes even weeks, to get a response from them.
Many people have complained about the slow response time in the reviews, and I believe the company needs to improve its customer support procedures and responsiveness.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Swytch Kit, but you need to be patient with their support team.

This Swytch bike is brilliant. I had bought one before and was very happy with it, and was very pleased to see that they had introduced the Swytch GO range at a lower price point, so I ordered another one.
A few days in and we're very happy with our new purchase. Fitting was straightforward (with a little help from someone who understands bikes better than I do!), and it rides beautifully. Sure, the battery is larger and heavier that the Swytch Max that I bought previously, but given it's an electric bike, that doesn't matter so much. And it's still a lot lighter than an electric bike! And as the battery can easily be removed, you can choose to go light when you don't need the batter.
When you live in a hilly areas like we do, Swytch is really fantastic!
Customer service was good, as we were always kept informed of delivery timelines and the kit was delivered within the 6 months timeframe.
All in all, very happy and looking forward to some lovely rides on our Swytch kitted bike!
Delivery was a little longer than originally expected as the team were ensuring their new Go+ units met their standards. However, in the end I didn't mind the slightly longer wait... and it was worth it! Installation on my Trek bike was really easy and took no more than 45min from start to finish. I wanted it to make the hills to and from work a bit easier... and it hasn't disappointed. Cycled to work for the first time yesterday with the new electric powered Trek and it's made the commute so much more enjoyable and the hills are barely noticeable now.. which is no mean thing given I have a 130m altitude gain in each direction.
Overall, great item and worth the wait!

The Swytch Go is fantastic. Those hills are no problem anymore and I still feel like I'm getting a good workout in. It makes the hills easier, but not too easy 🙂
Sure, I could have bought an electric bike for thousands, but I like my original bike and this kit was a breeze to install at a fraction of the price.
